Koch Glitsch LP is looking for an experienced Tool & Die Designer
Who: Koch Glitsch is a global company specializing in mass transfer and mist elimination technology. Their primary business operations include-
1. Mass Transfer Technology – Tower internals for distillation columns, absorption columns, stripping columns, and extraction columns
2. Specialty Plant Services – Installation of tower internals and other specialty plant services.
3. Separations Technology – Devices for the removal of liquid and particulates from vapor streams.
Ideal candidate will have 5 years minimum experience (10 yrs preferred) with 3+ of those years dealing with AutoCAD and, or, SolidWorks and-
- Understanding of stamping process and industry
- Experience with product design for manufacturability and product development
- Microsoft XP, Word and Excel Proficient
- Familiarity with CAM programs required
- HS Diploma or GED required
- 2 year Mechanical Engineering Technologhy Certificate/Degree preferred
- 4 year Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required
- Familiar with GibbsCAM preferred
What: Tool and Die Design Position to peform the following responsibilities;
Designing new tools
Participating in process development
Maintaining drawing documentation
Modifying existing designs as necessary to support manufacturing, quoting and/or revised tooling, parts and processes
Determine capability of potential upcoming projects
Maintains CAD/CAM software/hardware and print document control systems
