With a record number of machine tool, die and mold shops being forced to close their doors last year some of you have been able to purchase some heavily-discounted capital assets for your plant floor.
It's rarely mentioned but LCC competitors have purchased scores of machinery from these types of auctions. To the shop owners who were forced to liquidate this equipment–due in part to unfair advantages enjoyed by the same overseas shops–it may sting a little bit less knowing these machines are put to use in North America.
