			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>With a record number of machine tool, die and mold shops being forced to close their doors last year some of you have been able to purchase some heavily-discounted capital assets for your plant floor.</p>
<p>It&#39;s rarely mentioned but LCC competitors have purchased scores of machinery from these types of auctions. To the shop owners who were forced to liquidate this equipment&#8211;due in part to unfair advantages enjoyed by the same overseas shops&#8211;it may sting a little bit less knowing these machines are put to use in North America.</p>
